The Kreher Preserve & Nature Center is located at 2222 North College Street (Hwy 147), Auburn, AL 36830 (32.659637, -85.488183). We are close to Hwy 280 and just across from the Auburn University Fisheries building and ponds.
From Auburn University Campus

From the City of Auburn
Drive north on College Street – about 3 miles from downtown. Once you pass the AU Fish ponds on your left, the Nature Center’s entrance will be on your RIGHT.
From the City of Opelika
Drive north on Highway 280 and just beyond mile marker 102, turn LEFT onto Highway 147 South. Cross over County Road 72 (flashing light) – Farmville cemetery will be on your left. The Nature Center is the 3rd entrance on the left past the cemetery.
From the North / Birmingham
Drive south on Highway 280 and just beyond mile marker 101, turn RIGHT onto Hwy 147 South. Cross over County Road 72 (flashing light) – Farmville cemetery will be on your left. The Nature Center is the 3rd entrance on the left past the cemetery.
North Entrance
Our north entrance and parking lot is on Farmville Road (Highway 72) across from the city water tower (0.3 miles east of N. College Street or 0.7 miles west of Highway 280) (32.665381, -85.484511).
