Private Event Rentals
The Kreher Preserve & Nature Center (KPNC) offers a dynamic venue for social gatherings, business meetings, and special events. The amphitheater and our pavilions provide a scenic backdrop for romantic outdoor weddings and intimate receptions; and the nature center’s trails, gardens, and open spaces are ideal for employee picnics, ceremonies, reunions, and group outings.
The KPNC also hosts private events for community groups including civic and social clubs, service organizations, scouts, and church groups. Interpretive tours, short programs, or activities can be provided for guests with a reservation.
Facilities and areas available for private events include:
- Covered Pavilion with Seating up to 80
- 150-seat Multi-Level Open-air Amphitheater
- Secluded ‘Pond Pavilion’ with view of the KPNC Turtle Pond
- Picnic Area adjacent to the Nature Playground
- Butterfly Garden
- Historic Homestead Lawn and Garden
- Multiple Outdoor Classrooms
Up to six six-foot tables and fifty chairs are included with rentals. Additional tables and chairs along with the following amenities may be requested as add-ons:
- Round Tables & Chairs
- Risers
- Audio/visual Equipment
- Use of Fire Pits
- Program, Activity, and/or Interpretive Tour
Combined, half, and full day rates are available for Kreher facilities. To discuss your event or inquire about rates and policies, email the KPNC manager at kpncmanager@auburn.edu with your event date and details, including timeline, facility(s) requested, and logistical needs. Scheduling
Facility Rental reservations must be made 2 weeks in advance. Please be aware that community programs, camps, and other events may present scheduling conflicts. For more information or to schedule a party, contact the KPNC manager kpncmanager@auburn.edu.
