Birds singing. Trees all around you. Stars overhead. Grass beneath your feet. The fresh breeze against your skin.
The KPNC is a wonderful, peaceful, and romantic place to take your vows – full of marvelous shade trees, soothing songs of countless birds, and the incredible breeze that rustles through the leaves of the forest reminding you of the elegance and simple beauty of nature.
Weddings come in every shape and size and so, too, do our accommodations. The KPNC has many venues to offer and many options for your ceremony and reception. Below is a general outline of opportunities but please feel free to introduce new ideas and suggestions. We want you to have the best wedding experience possible and we are ready to help!
Venues
The South Pavilion
The Pavilion at the KPNC is a beautiful, wood, openair structure with concrete floor and en suite bathroom. It is surrounded by beautiful forest with easy access to the main parking lot, handicap parking, and the fire pit. The space is 36’ x 30’, offering approximately 1000 square feet, and accommodating up to 50 people.
The Amphitheater
The KPNC’s amphitheater is an incredible, high-design structure built by Auburn University’s College of Architecture. Nestled on a hill side in the woods, it has a gorgeous backdrop of natural forest and is adjacent to the fire pit. There is an attached bathroom which could double as a ready-room. The amphitheater is approximately 40’ x 60’ which includes stadium-style seating on wood benches comfortably accommodating 150 people.
The Homestead
The homestead site at the KPNC surrounds an original wood barn built in the 1800’s. The site consists of about 1 acre of mowed lawn with fruit trees, an organic garden, and is adjacent to our beloved butterfly garden. This would be the perfect spot for a wedding themed on the American frontier! The site has easy access to the KPNC’s north parking lot and Farmville Road.
The Pond Pavilion
The Pond Pavilion is our newest and most secluded venue. With a beautiful view of the Turtle Pond and a large, open space for gathering, it is a lovely space for a wedding with easy access to the privacy, peacefulness, and the sanctuary of the KPNC forest.
The Forest
The KPNC consists of 120 acres of southern temperate forest and there are many corners with space and terrain that can accommodate a truly magical ceremony! Surrounded by the majesty and wonder of native woodlands, these locations offer breathtaking sunsets through the trees under a dazzling canopy of stars. These areas are in the forest with limited access and are sensitive to human presence; so respect for the forest and a delicate footprint are required.

Firepit
The KPNC has a fire pit adjacent to the South Pavilion, the Pond Pavilion, and the Homestead. A fire pit is the perfect place to warm up on cool evenings, to sit and get lost in the hypnotizing firelight, or enjoy stories and S’mores with your family or the wedding party! Firewood is stocked, convenient, and included.
Lights
Lighting makes the mood! If you have an evening wedding or reception planned, you can maximize the ambience and romance of the event with these string lights. With over 200 ft, we can brighten up your dancefloor, create a fantasy sanctuary for the newlyweds, or transform our trails into a magical pathway.

What is a wedding without music and a great slide show? We offer a screen, projector, microphone, and speaker system for use at The Amphitheater or Pavilion. Setup is included.
