WHEN?
Classes meet every day of the week. Families can choose from the following options:

The last day of class for our 2024/25 school year will be May 16, 2024. The 2025/2026 school year begins August 11, 2024 and ends May 15, 2024.
WHO?
Woodland Wonders Nature Preschool is open to children ages 3 to 5 (age as of September 1). If your child falls outside this range, please contact us and we can discuss individual exceptions. Children must be potty-trained by the beginning of classes. We welcome children from all backgrounds and cultures and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, gender, disability, or age. Woodland Wonders will accept up to 24 students in each class with a teacher-ratio of 1 teacher per 6 students.

Step 1: Register

Registration for the 2024/25 school year opened January 29, 2024 for the community. Registration requires a $50.00, non-refundable deposit. Tuition and supplies fees are not required until the first day of class (August 14, 2024). Following registration, you will be contacted by one of our staff to follow-up on your enrollment
Step 2: Complete Required Forms
All forms required by Auburn University policy as well as state and federal regulations must be completed. We’ve simplified these forms into a single process using the link above.
Before completing the required forms, you must read and understand the Parent Handbook.
Step 3: Meet & Greet
Sarah Crim, Woodland Wonders’ education director, will contact you after you register. We will arrange a time for you to meet us and tour the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center. We meet with every family individually, to ensure you have all of your questions answered and so that we have everything we need to provide the best, possible, education for your child(ren).
Step 4: Tuition & Fees

“Tuition” is the full cost of school for the entire school year and includes a daily morning snack as well as a snack in the afternoon (depending on your enrollment options). A one-time supplies fee is added to the tuition and is due before class begins.
Tuition may be paid up-front or in monthly installments according to the chart below (there is no discount for paying up-front). The first payment is due by the first day of class (August 14, 2024); and if you elect to pay via monthly installments, all subsequent payments are due by the first of each month. Siblings attending Woodland Wonders concurrently receive a discount of 10% on tuition (does not apply to supplies fees).
Woodland Wonders offers afternoon and lunch options. You will have the opportunity to select these options during enrollment.
Invoicing software will be used to send automatic reminders about payment due dates each month. You will receive reminders 14 days and 7 days before a payment is due, as well as 7 days and 14 days afterwards. You will need the invoice number to make the payment. Step 5: Classes Begin

Step 6: Make Follow-up Tuition Payments

If you did not pay full tuition at the start of the school year, you will need to make tuition payments. Payments are due the first of each month.
Woodland Wonders is proud to be the first nature preschool to be recognized as a State of Alabama First Class Pre-K. The Woodland Wonders “First Class” classroom is tuition-free and will accept up to 12 students that are 4 years old as of Sep 1, 2025. Registration is open now for the 2024/25 school year – we hope to start in February.
Registration for the 2025/26 school year begins January 15.
