Alabama Nature Teachers and Schools (ANTS)

Alabama Nature Teachers and Schools (ANTS) is an organization whose goal is to promote the love of the wild and the teaching of its value through nature-based education. ANTS brings together nature-based educators and schools across the state to join minds and initiatives for a better collaborative and inclusive state-wide nature-education effort.

This event is open to anyone interested in nature-based education including home educators, school educators, school directors, those considering starting a nature-based program, and anyone else interested in the benefits of learning outdoors. The format of the Gathering gives ample opportunity to brainstorm, discuss, and encourage one another in our unique education journeys.
