Enjoy a beautiful family evening together at the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center! Join us for our S’more Fun event, Lee County’s premier spring family evening, co-hosted by the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center and the City of Auburn.
The event is May 8-10 with Friday and Saturday evenings for boys aged 4 to 12 and their moms, while Thursday is Family Night, welcoming dads and daughters, and the whole family!
This eventful evening promises a variety of engaging activities for parents and children to create lasting memories around:
Explore the wonders of nature with a twilight hike under the beautiful evening sky and see the Kreher forest in a new light with a chance to spot fascinating crepuscular animals that are active during this time!
Enjoy a delicious cookout under the sunset sky
Get creative at our crafting stations, where you can make your own keepsake art project to remember this special night.
Immerse yourself in captivating storytelling, as our talented storytellers weave magical tales that will transport you to another world and engage you in the story.
And of course, indulge in the ultimate treat with gooey, delicious s’mores that will make the evening even sweeter!
S’more Fun is offered three evenings; Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, May 8, 9, & 10 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM. The cost is $30 per parent/child duo ($10 each for any additional children). Friday and Saturday are for boys aged 4 to 12 and their moms; Thursday is for the whole family (children under 3 do not need a ticket).
