Science on Saturdays: Tales from a Wildlife Vet, has been postponed until May 1st, 10-11 AM. If you already purchased tickets, they will transfer automatically and there is nothing you need to do. If you cannot attend the May 1st date, you may email us for a refund or a gift receipt if you want to make your ticket purchase a donation to the Nature Center.

Woodland Wonders 2021-2022 Registration NOW OPEN!
Registration for the 2021/2022 Woodland Wonders Nature Preschool school year is now open. To register, click here. Woodland Wonders is Auburn’s first nature preschool and the second nature preschool in Alabama. “Nature preschool” is an innovative educational strategy that allows your child to learn about, with, and through nature, embracing the great outdoors as their classroom. Classes are offered to preschool children (ages 3-5) each day of the week and students can sign up for a 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day option. Alabama Winter months are made for exploring with your children and we are offering some great programs to help you continue to enjoy the great outdoors!
Tree Tots (ages crawling to 3 years) and Forest Friends (ages 2 to 5 years) are part of the KPNC’s award-winning Forest Friends series. This series offers unique, hands-on, nature-based education for children and their caregivers, creating a meaningful and impactful connection to nature that will last a lifetime. Tree Tots meets on Thursday’s from 9:30-11:00am and Forest Friends meets on Friday’s from 9:30-11:00am. Both programs begin the second week of January (14th for TT and 15th for FF) and continue for six weeks until February 18 & 19 respectively.
